Me, pictured recently on a shoot. Two cameras, Fong Lightsphere on flash (dark indoors shoot), and Domke PJ bag.
And yes, I wear a tie. Even when I am wearing jeans.

I now have my own Collapsible Lightsphere. I see you have the dome inverted. What sorts of situations would you use the dome outward, and when would you want the dome inward (as you have illustrated.) And here I’m talking about the white dome and not an amber one.
amber dome…is meant for tungsten lit rooms, correct? and i guess, for warmer colour as well.
do you use your lightsphere often? if so, in what situations would you normally right away pull out the lightsphere even before experimenting with other techniques.

Always inward, Gar. (Whether yellow or white).
And you do NOT use the dome at all if you have a white ceiling above that you want to use as part of the light distribution.
